A New Look for Noobz!
Written by Administrator    Wednesday, 13 December 2006

ImageAt last the Noobz website has moved out of the 20th century, and into the 21st.  We've redesigned and modernised the site to try to make it both easier for us to update, and easier for you to use.

Here's a quick run-down of the main improvements:

  • Searchable content - you can use the search box at the top of the page, or the search link in the sidebar menu, to search through all of the articles on the site.

  • New comments system - you can now post comments on our articles.  You will have to register for an account with this site (don't worry, it's free and we won't use or sell your details for anything else) to be able to post comments.

  • New download area, to make it easier to find all of our releases.

  • RSS feeds - you can use an RSS news reader, or your browser's LiveBookmarks feature, to ensure that you're always up to date with any Noobz news.

  • Convenient links for submitting Noobz news stories to popular news and bookmarking sites, such as Digg and del.icio.us.

We hope you enjoy the new design!

Update: Comment posting for guests has been enabled, so you don't need to register to post comments.  However, guest comments have to be approved before they are published, so it is worth registering if you want your comments to appear immediately.

  Woohoo! nice job guys!
Could you just hit us with an update to current WIP, and maybe a few answers (that mere mortals can understand, not in dev-ish smilies/wink.gif ) to questions lots of people ask (so a FAQ?) such as what is impeding the creation of a 2.80 downgrader (I WANT TO KNOW ;p) and maybe other stuff such as why no 2.8x eLoader, and anything else many ask.
please don't post comments "stupidity" or it's variants and 2.80 in the same sentence, thanks.

Very nice new look guys! looks much better than used to. kudos!
Just, while you guys are on a posting spree here, could you write a short article to explain to us mere mortals some of the questions we often ask (and often get flamed at for asking, let's see if it will be the case here) such as why 2.80 doesn't have a downgrader, and, i dunno, why do 2.8x and 3.0x ers not have homebrew etc... which would surely clear up things for a good amount of people who've been reduced to hearing "ITS CUZ Th3iz n0 xploit yet n00b!" instead of articulate responses.
Again, kudos for the new site and for bringing the eLoader to the world

  Niiiice site design.
The old one was a bit lame with the frames and everything...
But as said, such an amazing site doesn't particularly need a fancy look!
Keep up the good work!
Noobz rule!
I remember when I'd constantly visit fanjita.org for updates... ahh, good days....
