Noobz and Dark AleX mentioned on the BBC
Written by Fanjita    Monday, 26 February 2007

ImageThe BBC technology website just ran a story, aiming to explain the homebrew battle to a more mainstream audience.

You can see a discussion of the issues, plus quotes from Fanjita and Dark AleX, in the article here .

UPDATE The BBC World Service will be doing a live phone interview with Fanjita, tomorrow morning at 07:50 GMT.  If you miss it you should be able to grab a download of the recording via the 'Listen Again ' service on the BBC website (fast forward to about 1:50:00 to hear the interview, it's about 5 mins long).  It's only likely to be available for 24 hours.  (Oh, and please excuse the voice - I'm recovering from the 'flu Wink)

Hi Fanjita, wow your name is up in lights now smilies/smiley.gif Thank you so much for all you have done for the PSP (I just love PSPradio) and showing Sony what a great oppotunity they have missed in locking out homebrew.

Mind you, now they know your name I would be careful of going down dark streets for a while. Look out for the guys wearing "shades" at night smilies/wink.gif

Regards, Bungie Jumper. (UK too)

Nice work mate, you did a great job detailing the great things the homebrew scene has accomplished despite the interviewers overly negative focus/line of questioning.

I personally thank you for the eloaders that gave me my first taste of homebrew on my PSP until it was downgradable, and have several friends who also owe you a debt of gratitude due to the 3.03 Downgrader.

I read this story on the big Beeb earlier. Nice to see us(the homebrew community) getting some GOOD press, and even nicer to see Sony spokespeople who are not bothered about using your hacks for homebrew!

Nice One ! great interview , I unlocked my psp as the bbc put it and it has helped me as myself and another friend have been working on a flightsimulator 2004/FSX linked FMC for the psp to save having to open other panels ! and that's a legit reason and sony can't say i am breaking the Law by running it.

Well, well - if this isn't indicative of the impact your combined efforts are having, then nothing short of Sony putting a price on your heads will do! My continuing support and admiration should be taken as given. Go Noobz!! smilies/grin.gif
