I too would like to know this. I thought the files would be removed once upgraded to DAX custom firmware, but judging from the posts here I guess that is not the case? Surely a cleaner will be out soon as I can't imagine it would be hard to remove certain files once downgraded?

What if after downdating to 1.50, you installed/updated to 3.03 OE-C custom firmware, then you downdated to 1.50 again using the recovery module, will it be ok to update to either 2.71 or 2.80 then downdate to 1.50 again from there so you can have a clean flash/firmware?

Or

from 3.03 OE-C, will downdating to 1.50 through the recovery module give you already a clean flash/firmware?

How about updating to 3.03 from 1.50 (after the recovery module execution of the custom firmware)? Will this work or will this brick a PSP?

Always the same error. No matter I use LAN with WEP, WPA or open mode...

Is this a bug of 3.03 official version?.

Someone can Help me?.

Im waiting for GTA to downgrade to 1.50 and after upgrade to Dark Alex version. But, is WIFI working fine in Alex versions?.

You need to have downloaded the 1.50 update and unzip it somewhere on your desktop/laptop. Rename the resulting EBOOT.PBP to UPDATE.PBP and copy it to [psp root]/PSP/GAME/UPDATE/ With the file named UPDATE.PBP, you don't have to worry overwriting the EBOOT.PBP that was copied to the UPDATE dir from step 6.
It's all green lights from there. Outstanding work fellas.

I did the downgrade and subsequent upgrade on my black psp. No problem. Then I did it on my daughters 1 day old pink PSP. When 1.5 was in, the display went black. It came back for a few seconds every time I turned the psp on/off. Scary stuff. With my black psp with working display I was able to count keypresses and upgrade the pink one without working display to 304oe. Booting into this version made the display work again. (phew). But the pre-boot setup menu is still not visible of some reason.
